Abstract : Al-Jubail is located on the coast of the Arabian Gulf, north of Ras Tanura. It was mentioned in the advanced sources as "Ainain", and the name is dual, meaning the fountain of water. And because of the Ainain of an ancient history, the Geographers believed that it was an ancient village for the of Abdullah bin Darm bin Malik offspring from the tribe of Bani Tamim, and it was a famous day in the days of the Arabs in pre-Islamic times known as the day of Ainain. It flourished in the Umayyad period, and to it is attributed to the poet Khuleed Ainain. Jubail was inhabited in the modern period by a group from the Bani Khalid tribe, but they did not settle in it, until a large portion of the Al-Buainain group moved from Al-Wakra, Qatar, to Jubail in two phases known as the Jelwa. The first one was in Ramadan of the 1327AH / October 1909AD, and the second in Safar 1341AH / October 1922AD. Jubail became the focus of attention of the world powers at the time, and for its sake the two greatest powers in the region wrestled: The Ottoman Empire and the British Kingdom. And the Ottomans decided to form Jubail by the Ottoman Foreign Affairs (Naheyah) in an early period of 1329AH / 1911AD. Some regional powers were fighting to win this important land like the ruler of Kuwait. However, the strength of King Abdulaziz was more attractive to the people of Jubail, who, as soon as the bode of the annexation of Al-Ahsa, appeared to be under the rule of King Abdulaziz. Who started planning Jubail to become an economically influential force in the region, and its port is one of the most important ports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The geology of Jubail and its geographical nature were distinguished in the descent of the mission of the Standard Oil of California, which became the abbreviation of its name (SOCAL), that was on September 23, 1933AD, where the first mission arrived after the signing of the oil exploration concession, then the company After that, the concession was transferred to Standard Arabian California Oil Company, known simply as “CASOC”, and consisted of: Robert P. Miller "Bert", Schuyler B. Krug Henry, Karl Twitchell. They were staying in Barzan Palace, and they stayed for three years. Al-Jubail played an important role in receiving food and grains from the ports of the world, and supplying most parts of the Arabian Peninsula through caravans that departed from the east of the country to the rest of the country at a time when the famines and distress that followed the Second World War 1945AD included much of the land of Saudi Arabia.
